Daily Dose Of Inspiration: Your Imagination!

Ah, imagination. I think imagination is key to living a life well lived ( besides love and some other important traits.) Without an imagination, we wouldn't have wonderful photography, drawings, clothes, stories, songs... basically everything. Your imagination is so important. It's such an amazing thing us humans are designed with, so use it wisely. And never give up on it. It could always be of some use.

An End

Malheureusement(sadly in French), my day's on vacation are coming to an end. I absolutely love vacation weeks. They are the best parts about school actually (besides the friends aspect). Personally I don't think two weeks is enough to suit just about anybody really. Everyone I've talked to is dreading waking up on Monday to the horrid, consistant beeps of their alarm clock, only to freeze while getting dressed, then pretend like they are listening in first period. When in fact they are just complaining in their mind on why school is such a drag.

On a more than wonderful note... I have enjoyed quite much my last days on vacation. I have done a TREMENDOUS amount of bike riding since reciving my first beach crusie. It's beautiful. Pink and white. Love it!

In my scarce spare time, I do what I do best. Daydream and think, and worry. In fact I think I do all of that way too much.

But I got side tracked from that O- SO- IMPORTANT matter of buissness and decided to make some New Years Resolutions.

1. Play my guitars more

2. Be more attentive to my work ( no more sloppy joe type work)

3. Eat better

4. Most important as Jason Mraz would say just BE LOVE.

I think when you don't feel loved you have the excuse of saying it's hard for me to love. But I think that is 100% completely wrong. You are far from the first person to use that excuse. Love is, without a doubt the greatest thing to be experinced, felt, seen, or heard... in the universe.

GaGa for Christmas ( Daily Dose of Inspiration: Lady GaGa)

Well another Christmastime has come and gone. This year has seemed to be one of the fastest Christmas' yet. It seems like just yesterday when I was sitting dripping with sweat during the summer time, longing for the Christmas spirit. And now, I am bundling up next to the fire and shopping after Christmas sales. May I be one of the many to say that this Christmas was just simply amazing, and in more than just the gift way. But while speaking of gifts, I did get some very VERY good gifts this year. Ones in which I will be sure to post pictures of. But one piece that I look at, at least twice a day is this orange and gold Marc Jacobs necklace/pendant. It's so simple yet adds the perfect touch to any outfit it accompany's. I can't wait to put some use into it.

Right when I hear that name, my mouth automatically opens and I being to sing the catchy words: "Ra Ra-ah-ah-ah Roma Roma-ma GaGa Oh la-la Want your bad romance"

Yes, Lady GaGa is just another pop sensation, but she is also a fashion muse. Lady GaGa does things no one else dares to do. Yet sometimes, the New York singer is a little over the top she always keeps us guessing and waiting for what she's going to do next.

I know Lady GaGa isn't the best role model, and I am NOT at all saying she is but, I admire that she just does what she thinks is "cool" she really doesn't care, and that could be good or bad, but I am acknowledging the good of it. I enjoy Lady GaGa and I hope she brings more enjoyable things to come.

Daily Dose of Inspiration: Alice In Wonderland

Yes, Alice In Wonderland. This classic is so inspirational if you think about it. It has been the inspiration for so many fashion shoots, designs, outfits, and so many other things. When you look at Alice inspired things, you truely do find your self in a wonderland. Everything about it is so different and interesting you find your self slipping into that fantasy world.

A new mother, and designer of jewlery was inspired by Alice just as I was. She sank into the wonderland and created this lovely necklace:

Winter Is Here... I think?

Happy First Day Of Winter!

Winter is here! Well at least I think. In California, sometimes winter isn't so cold. For example, while other people around the world were bundling up, I rocked a pair of high waisted shorts. I hope it starts to shape up though... and actually act like winter.

December Vogue Bliss

When you grab a Vogue magazine and flip the pages all in one big motion, you can smell the invigorating aroma's of the perfume samples.

Also in this months Vogue was one of THE most goreous dresses I have laid eyes upon. It was a ball gown by  Christian Dior. What I would give to own this BEAUTIFUL dress.

Vogue never stops delievering. For the December issue, they had a Hanzel and Gretyl inspired photoshoot. For this they had two amazing models:

Actor Andrew Garfield

Model Lily Cole

To make it even more interesting they had none other than the pop phenomenon, Lady Gaga come in for the shoot as well.

Gaga, with her outrageous sense of fashion showed up to set one day naked, accept for a white rubber coat and very tall heels.

The Hanzel and Gretyl shoot ended up being amazing, and totally inspiring. You felt like you were in a fantasy land while looking at these pictures. Lily, Andrew, and Gaga were wonderful.

I Am Waiting

Oh gosh  am I waiting. I am waiting for Christmas vacation. YES I AM. I am so tired of school right now. It's such a drag having to get up and go to school everyday when we are having such wonderful cold weather. I could be going on runs, I could  be sitting in my p.j's drinking tea, I could be Christmas shopping with my mom, I could be making Christmas cards, I could be baking cookies. I could be doing a lot of things, but alas, I am not.
